Our Aunt Louise has passed on. She passed away peacefully on Monday.
Fond memories of her will forever live in our hearts.

Day One of Carnaval

Carnaval starts off with the burning of an effigy of "bad mood". This guy was strung up with fire crackers and ready to toast!

Bandstand With A View

Can you believe that!

Would not be an event

without Tahitian dancers. There's a dance studio in La Paz dedicated to teaching dances of the South Pacific. Girls of all ages perform and boy
do they get those mid-sections moving!

Blankets, blankets and more blankets

are auctioned every year. We missed it last year, we need to stay up later!

Sweets For The Sweet

One thing Mexicans are really good at is making beautiful things with sugar, some of it tastes good too!

Sparks were flying,

getting ready and heating up the goods!
