On Highway 1 in Baja there is a very small town called El Rosario. Last year on our way down we stopped at Mission Tacos, a small restaurant with four tables to have lunch. We were admiring the paintings on the wall when the proprietor's husband arrived with paint on his clothes and hands! This man, in this very small town, turned out to be a self taught artist! We bought a beautiful painting of a Blue Agave Plant. This year we bought our "mask" painting. The colors are incredible.
We are great fans of Hugo Lopez's art and his wife's tacos!
